Home Infusion Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Focused on improving collection rates, the full-time Home Infusion Billing Specialist will manage the collection of Home Infusion claims remotely, ensuring accuracy and adherence to processes to reduce denial rates and bad debt.

Key responsibilities:

• Review outstanding claims and follow up with insurers and patients to collect revenues while building strong relationships
• Analyze denials, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance collection rates and reduce DSO
• Document all case activities and communications to maintain accurate records and ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims

Required qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in home infusion billing and/or collections
• High School Diploma with specialized training in pharmacy/medical billing and collections
• Proven understanding of billing processes and techniques for various payer types
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain clear records of activities
• Experience working in a remote environment is a plus
