Hospital Billing Director

Job Summary

Seeking a results-oriented revenue cycle leader, the full-time Director Hospital Billing will manage the strategic direction and operational performance of hospital billing operations, including Home Health and Hospice services, in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee hospital billing operations to ensure timely and accurate claim submission and reimbursement
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators to enhance financial performance and optimize reimbursement
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement by mentoring and developing Hospital Billing managers and staff

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience in hospital billing, patient financial services, or revenue cycle operations
• Strong knowledge of hospital billing operations, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and denial management
• Experience leading large teams and operational improvement initiatives
