Hospital Inpatient Biller

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Hospital Inpatient Biller/Collection Specialist, this position will prepare, review, and submit claims while monitoring claim status and resolving rejections and denials in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and submit claims accurately and timely
• Investigate and resolve claim rejections, denials, and payment variances
• Perform account receivable follow-up activities to secure payment on outstanding accounts

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of hospital billing and collection experience
• Strong understanding of Institutional reimbursement methodologies
• Demonstrated knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer guidelines
• Experience with UB-04 requirements
• Proficiency with clearinghouses and payer portals
