Hospital Price Transparency Analyst

Job Summary

Maintaining and optimizing automated processes related to pricing transparency, the full-time Hospital Price Transparency Analyst will analyze hospital claims data, audit results for data integrity, and resolve data issues while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the proprietary pricing transparency tool to ensure compliance with current regulations
• Audit price index results and collaborate with the development team to address data issues
• Create client-friendly price index reports following data integrity confirmation

Required qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 5 years of inpatient/outpatient coding and/or billing experience in a healthcare environment
• Active coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC is preferred
• Advanced understanding of government regulations impacting hospital price transparency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong Excel skills
