Job Summary
To support the credentialing process for healthcare providers, the full-time Hospital Privileging Coordinator will manage privileging applications, coordinate with various stakeholders for required documentation, and ensure compliance with hospital regulations, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Arrange hospital privileges and credentialing for providers according to medical staff rules and regulations
- Assist in obtaining necessary documentation for credentialing applications, including verifications of education and work experience
- Communicate with sales staff regarding the status and outcomes of provider applications
Required qualifications
- 2 years of work experience in an administrative and/or customer service position
- Experience in the healthcare or staffing industries
- Working knowledge of healthcare terminology
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based applications
- Strong organizational skills and proven accuracy with record keeping
