Job Summary
Working part-time during evening shifts, the Housekeeping Assistant II will support the discharge Environmental Services (EVS) team by ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in patient areas and common spaces.
Key responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in patient rooms and surrounding areas
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and adherence to infection control protocols
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
Required qualifications
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or environmental services role preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and infection control standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, specifically evening shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certification in cleaning or sanitation practices is a plus
