HPC Kubernetes Architect
Job Summary
Operating multi-cloud platform infrastructure, the full-time HPC Kubernetes Architect will manage Kubernetes platforms at scale, provision HPC infrastructure, and oversee job scheduling for GPU compute workloads in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Operate Kubernetes platforms (EKS, CKS, GKE) and manage cluster lifecycle and node pool stability
- Provision HPC infrastructure through CI/CD systems across various cloud providers
- Define SLIs/SLOs, build monitoring and alerting systems, and participate in incident response
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms, or HPC
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes at scale, including node pool management and scheduler debugging
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
- Working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, and EFS
- Experience with Python for tooling and automation
