HPC Systems Administrator
Job Summary
Supporting the day-to-day operation and maintenance of HPC and AI infrastructure, the full-time HPC Systems Administrator will work remotely to troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and networking issues while collaborating with technical teams to enhance system reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Support and maintain Linux-based HPC and AI computing environments, troubleshooting hardware and software issues across various platforms
- Assist with the installation and configuration of NVIDIA GPU infrastructure, diagnosing performance and hardware-related issues
- Participate in incident response activities, documenting troubleshooting efforts and following change-management processes
Required qualifications
- Approximately 5 years of experience in Linux systems administration or a related technical role
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line administration
- Basic understanding of enterprise server hardware and common server components
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals including IP addressing and basic connectivity troubleshooting
- Exposure to GPU infrastructure or interest in NVIDIA accelerated computing platforms
