HR Director

Job Summary

To drive impactful HR initiatives, the remote full-time HR Director will manage performance management, total rewards, and compliance while leading a team to enhance HR processes and tools.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end performance management cycles, including design, execution, and retrospectives
• Manage compensation and benefits, including band design, benchmarking, and annual comp cycles
• Ensure HR compliance across multi-state registrations, I-9 processes, and employee handbooks

Required qualifications

• Proven experience managing a full performance cycle for organizations with 150+ employees
• Demonstrated ownership of compensation and benefits processes, including defending compensation decisions
• Strong background in HR compliance with a track record of clearing backlogs
• Experience in building and sustaining people systems that endure beyond personal tenure
• History of scaling companies in terms of headcount or revenue effectively
