Seeking a motivated HR Generalist, the full-time role based in Silver Spring, MD will support the transition to a new HRIS platform, ensure compliance with employment laws across multiple states, and serve as a resource for employee relations and HR processes in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the implementation of a new HRIS platform, including data management and employee training
- Monitor state-specific employment law requirements and recommend policy updates as necessary
- Administer leaves of absence and assist with employee benefits inquiries in collaboration with the HR Manager
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant HR experience with a focus on employee relations
- Working knowledge of employment law and compliance across multiple states
- Proficiency in Google Workspace
- Located in the DMV area and willing to work a hybrid schedule
