HR Generalist (India)

Job Summary

Serving as the primary People Operations partner for the India entity, the full-time salaried HR Generalist (India) will manage the full employee lifecycle, align global HR strategies with local execution, and ensure a seamless employee experience while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Align global HR initiatives with local operations, managing employee queries and maintaining accurate HRIS records
• Lead end-to-end recruitment for India-based roles, collaborating with hiring managers on candidate evaluation and onboarding processes
• Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, while driving culture-building initiatives and ensuring compliance with local labor laws

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on, end-to-end HR generalist experience in a fast-growing startup or tech environment
• MBA or Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
• Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, HR operations, and employee engagement
• Working knowledge of Indian labor laws, including PF, ESI, and POSH
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and ATS tools, such as Rippling and Greenhouse
