HR Operations Analyst

Job Summary

Owning critical connections across Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and HRIS, the remote HR Operations Analyst will manage payroll tax compliance, lead audits, and drive process improvements while working independently within the Eastern Time zone.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the connector between Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and HRIS to ensure alignment of data and processes
• Own payroll tax compliance, including jurisdiction registrations, audits, and resolving notices across various requirements
• Prepare payroll and finance reports for budgeting and audits, while identifying opportunities for process improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, or a related field (equivalent experience considered)
• 4+ years of payroll experience with strong knowledge of multi-state rules and compliance across North America
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems, with a preference for Dayforce
• Ability to operate independently and propose solutions without waiting for direction
• Discretion with confidential information and strong documentation habits
