HR Specialist - Multi-State
Job Summary
Supporting multi-state educational programs, the full-time HR Specialist - Multi-State will manage onboarding, compliance, workforce planning, and employee relations for 180+ employees while operating in a virtual environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end onboarding and compliance operations for new hires across multiple states
- Develop and maintain regional workforce dashboards to track staffing metrics and trends
- Serve as a trusted HR partner, providing support on employee relations, leave administration, and policy guidance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2-4 years of progressive HR generalist or HR operations experience
- Experience supporting a multi-state workforce, ideally in education or regulated environments
- Hands-on experience with I-9 and E-Verify processes
- Experience managing background checks, clearances, and compliance documentation
