HR Specialist, Multi-State Compliance
Job Summary
Supporting multi-state educational programs, the full-time HR Specialist, Multi-State Compliance will manage onboarding, compliance operations, and employee relations for 180+ employees while working virtually across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Virginia.
Key responsibilities
- Lead onboarding and compliance operations for new hires and active employees across multiple states
- Analyze workforce data to provide insights on retention, staffing efficiency, and operational performance
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to regional leadership on employee support, leave administration, and policy guidance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of progressive HR generalist or HR operations experience
- Experience supporting a multi-state workforce, ideally in education or regulated environments
- Hands-on experience with I-9 and E-Verify processes
- Experience managing background checks, clearances, and licensure tracking in a school or child-serving setting
