HR Workday Consultant

Job Summary

To support a growing HR and Payroll Transformation practice, the remote HR Workday Transformation Consultant will advise US clients on HR transformation and Workday, leading client conversations, managing engagements, and delivering training while helping organizations modernize their HR functions.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead discovery and current state reviews of HR and payroll processes, providing options for change and building business cases for technology investment
• Manage HCM system selection exercises and serve as an independent adviser during implementation, ensuring quality assurance and design review
• Design and deliver tailored Workday training for HR teams, creating materials and preparing them for post-implementation support

Required qualifications:

• At least eight years of experience in HR transformation, HR technology, or HR operations, preferably in consulting
• Hands-on involvement in at least two full Workday HCM implementations as a client lead, program manager, or advisory partner
• Sound knowledge of Workday HCM and its integration with payroll and finance systems
• Proven experience in designing and delivering Workday training to HR teams
• Good understanding of US HR and payroll practices, including multi-state payroll and benefits administration
