Job Summary
Utilizing human-centered design expertise, the full-time remote Human Centered Design Consultant will review and enhance materials for the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Minority Health, ensuring accessibility for limited English proficiency communities while meeting project deadlines.
Key responsibilities
- Review and implement changes to HHS OMH materials based on human-centered design principles
- Advise on design solutions and improvements for materials aimed at LEP communities
- Contribute to contract deliverables, including community outreach and health promotion materials
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human-centered design, user experience design, computer science, or a related field
- At least six years of experience in human-centered design consultation, preferably in public health or federal government
- Eligibility for an HHS Public Trust security clearance
