Job Summary

Providing professional-level federal civilian position classification support, the full-time Human Resources Classifier II will analyze position descriptions, determine appropriate occupational series and grade levels, and offer classification guidance, with the option for remote work as approved.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct position classification reviews for various professional and administrative roles
• Analyze major duties and responsibilities to ensure compliance with OPM classification standards
• Provide classification advice and technical assistance to HR personnel and management

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Demonstrated experience in federal civilian position classification or related HR functions
• Experience applying OPM classification standards to position actions
• Experience developing and reviewing federal civilian position descriptions
• Must possess a Secret clearance
