Job Summary
Applying engineering principles and specialized HVAC system knowledge, the full-time remote HVAC Inside Sales Engineer will analyze mechanical plans, develop equipment selections, and provide technical consultation to contractors and engineers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze mechanical plans and project design conditions to develop engineered HVAC equipment selections
- Evaluate load requirements and system performance criteria to determine appropriate equipment selections
- Provide technical guidance to contractors and engineers regarding equipment application and system performance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical field, or equivalent experience in HVAC system design
- Minimum three years of experience in HVAC system design or technical mechanical sales
- Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC system design principles and equipment application
- Proficiency with engineering selection software and AutoCAD
- Ability to interpret mechanical plans and construction documents
