Job Summary
A company is looking for a part-time tutor for high school students in various subjects and standardized tests.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruct students privately and in small groups in subjects such as ACT, SAT, ISEE/SSAT, and academic subjects
- Provide mentorship and support to students to help them achieve their academic goals
- Work flexible hours, primarily evenings and weekends, while interacting with parents and addressing customer service challenges
Required Qualifications
- Four-year college degree
- Ability to score in the required percentile for chosen subjects (99th percentile for ACT/SAT, 95th for academic subjects, 90th for GRE/GMAT)
- Experience or strong interest in teaching and mentoring students
- Commitment to helping students discover their potential
- Availability to work at least ten hours a week
