Job Summary
Leading the upgrade of IBM Security Directory Server (ISVD) from v10.x to v11.x, the contract IBM LDAP Subject Matter Expert will ensure reliable authentication and identity services for downstream platforms while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, validation, and troubleshooting of the IBM LDAP upgrade lifecycle across multiple environments
- Produce upgrade plans, runbooks, and technical documentation to support successful delivery
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders to coordinate schedules, testing, and rollout activities
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience administering and upgrading IBM LDAP / IBM Security Directory Server (ISVD) in enterprise environments
- Strong Linux experience (RHEL), including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Proven ability to plan and execute version upgrades with validation and rollback planning
- Experience creating clear technical documentation, including upgrade procedures and operational runbooks
- Strong ability to work independently in a remote delivery model
