Job Summary
Leading the upgrade of IBM Security Directory Server (ISVD) from v10.x to v11.x, the contract IBM LDAP Subject Matter Expert will ensure reliable authentication and identity services in a remote role while producing technical documentation and coordinating with stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the upgrade process of IBM LDAP across multiple environments, ensuring compatibility and stability for consuming systems
- Perform planning, execution, validation, and troubleshooting throughout the upgrade lifecycle
- Create and maintain upgrade plans, runbooks, and supporting technical documentation for successful delivery
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience administering and upgrading IBM LDAP / IBM Security Directory Server (ISVD) in enterprise environments
- Strong Linux experience (RHEL), including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Proven ability to plan and execute version upgrades with validation and rollback planning
- Experience creating clear technical documentation, including upgrade procedures and operational runbooks
- Ability to work independently in a remote delivery model
