IBM Mainframe Systems Analyst
Job Summary
To support critical business operations, the remote Technical IBM Mainframe Applications/Systems Analyst will manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IBM mainframe systems and ISV software products, ensuring system stability and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain IBM z/OS operating systems and ISV products
- Troubleshoot system issues and perform system IPL planning and execution
- Collaborate with application teams and maintain documentation for system configurations and changes
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IBM mainframe system programming
- Strong experience with IBM z/OS internals, SMP/E, JCL, and TSO/ISPF
- Knowledge of system utilities such as IEBCOPY, IDCAMS, and IEBGENER
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent plus 5 years of experience
- Ability to pass a Tier 4/HIGH Background Investigation
