IBM Middleware Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting enterprise messaging and integration development, the full-time temporary IBM Middleware Engineer will manage IBM MQ environments and infrastructure while collaborating with development teams to enhance system reliability in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain IBM MQ environments, including queue managers and connectivity between applications
- Troubleshoot messaging and integration problems in collaboration with application and infrastructure teams
- Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and recovery procedures to improve operational readiness
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience administering IBM MQ in an enterprise environment
- Experience troubleshooting messaging infrastructure and connectivity issues
- Working knowledge of IBM ACE and its runtime components
- Understanding of integration development and architecture
- Experience with production support and infrastructure maintenance
