ICT/Telecom Designer

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time ICT/Telecom Designer will design and document telecommunications and structured cabling infrastructure for various projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber, across diverse facility types
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, IT teams, and construction managers throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead design decisions and mentor junior staff at more senior levels while managing client relationships

Required qualifications

• Experience designing structured cabling systems across a range of industries
• Familiarity with BICSI standards, TIA/EIA cabling standards, and low-voltage code requirements
• Proficiency in reading and producing construction documents, including floor plans and riser diagrams
• Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD for technology systems documentation
• Preferred BICSI RCDD certification or PE license (electrical preferred)
