Job Summary
To strengthen the implementation of the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA), the remote-eligible ICWA Implementation Lead will manage collaborative relationships with Tribal, State/County, and court partners, serving as the primary implementation advisor and supporting effective technical assistance activities.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders involved in the ICWA initiative
- Assist jurisdictions in translating ICWA requirements into practical policies and workflows
- Support Community-Based Partnership teams through planning, implementation, and resource coordination
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- At least 15 years of relevant work experience in public child welfare systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of ICWA implementation and Tribal-State partnerships
- Experience providing technical assistance and support for federal child welfare initiatives
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
