ICWA Implementation Lead
Job Summary
Serving as the primary implementation support lead, the remote eligible ICWA Implementation Lead will manage relationships with Tribal, State/County, and court partners to strengthen the implementation of the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) through technical assistance and collaboration.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with partners involved in the ICWA initiative
- Serve as the primary point of contact and implementation advisor for child welfare agencies participating in Community-Based Partnerships
- Assist jurisdictions in translating ICWA requirements into practical policies and workflows
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- At least 15 years of relevant work experience in public child welfare systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of ICWA implementation and Tribal-State-child welfare partnerships
- Experience providing technical assistance and supporting implementation of federal child welfare initiatives
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
