ICWA Implementation Lead
Job Summary
Serving as the primary implementation support lead for the ICWA Technical Assistance Collaborative, the remote-eligible ICWA Implementation Lead will build collaborative relationships with Tribal, State/County, and court partners, ensuring effective implementation of the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) through training, technical assistance, and policy development.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with partners involved in the ICWA initiative and serve as the primary point of contact for child welfare agencies
- Translate ICWA requirements into practical applications, assisting jurisdictions with policy review and implementation planning
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to provide coordinated technical assistance and support continuous quality improvement efforts
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- At least 15 years of relevant work experience in public child welfare systems
- Demonstrated expertise in ICWA implementation and Tribal-State-child welfare partnerships
- Experience providing technical assistance and consultation in child welfare practices
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
