Job Summary
To strengthen the implementation of the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA), the remote eligible ICWA Implementation Lead will manage collaborative relationships with Tribal, State/County, and court partners, providing technical assistance and support for Community-Based Partnerships and ICWA initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain partnerships with Tribal, State/County, and court entities involved in ICWA initiatives
- Serve as the primary implementation advisor for child welfare agencies, assisting in translating ICWA requirements into practice
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop implementation tools and support continuous quality improvement efforts
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- At least 15 years of relevant work experience in public child welfare systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of ICWA implementation and Tribal-State-child welfare partnerships
- Experience providing technical assistance or consultation in child welfare
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
