ICWA Implementation Lead
Job Summary
To strengthen the implementation of the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA), the remote eligible ICWA Implementation Lead will serve as the primary support lead for community-based partnerships, collaborating with Tribal, State/County, and court partners to translate ICWA requirements into sustainable practices and policies.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with partners involved in the ICWA initiative
- Serve as the primary implementation advisor for State and county child welfare agencies, assisting with policy review and workflow development
- Support the development of implementation tools and resources, and facilitate training and technical assistance activities
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- At least 15 years of relevant work experience in public child welfare systems
- Demonstrated expertise in ICWA implementation and Tribal-State partnerships
- Experience providing technical assistance and consultation in child welfare
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
