Job Summary
To strengthen the implementation of the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA), the remote eligible ICWA Implementation Lead will manage collaborative relationships with Tribal, State/County, and court partners, serve as the primary implementation advisor for child welfare agencies, and develop tools and resources to support effective ICWA practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with partners involved in the ICWA initiative
- Serve as the primary point of contact for child welfare agencies and assist in translating ICWA requirements into practice
- Support the development of implementation tools and provide technical assistance to enhance system performance and outcomes
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- At least 15 years of relevant work experience in public child welfare systems
- Demonstrated expertise in ICWA implementation and Tribal-State-child welfare partnerships
- Experience providing technical assistance and coaching in child welfare practices
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
