ICWA Implementation Lead
Job Summary
Serving as the primary implementation support lead within the cross-center ICWA Technical Assistance Collaborative, the remote eligible ICWA Implementation Lead will manage collaborative relationships with Tribal, State/County, and court partners to enhance the implementation of the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) through training, technical assistance, and policy development.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with Tribal, State/County, and court partners involved in the ICWA initiative
- Serve as the primary point of contact and implementation advisor for child welfare agencies participating in Community-Based Partnerships and ICWA technical assistance activities
- Assist jurisdictions in translating ICWA requirements into practice through policy review, workflow development, and implementation planning
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- At least 15 years of relevant work experience in public child welfare systems and practice
- Demonstrated knowledge of ICWA implementation and Tribal-State-child welfare partnerships
- Experience working with Tribal Nations and providing technical assistance in child welfare
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
