Job Summary
To support access coordination efforts, the full-time Illinois Licensed Access Counselor will manage client assessments, build referral relationships, and contribute to business development while working remotely from Illinois.
Key responsibilities:
- Schedule and conduct assessment interviews with potential clients and their significant others
- Provide case management and counseling services to assigned patients, formulating initial diagnostic impressions and recommendations
- Maintain knowledge of community resources for appropriate interagency referrals and ensure compliance with documentation standards
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; Master's preferred
- Illinois Certified Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CADC) or licensed as LSW or LPC within 24 months
- Minimum two years of behavioral health treatment experience
- Must qualify as a Mental Health Professional as defined by the Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132
- Demonstrated clinical competency in assessments and admissions
