Job Summary
The full-time remote Illinois Licensed Associate Attorney will analyze legal issues, conduct research, and prepare legal documents while collaborating with experienced attorneys on pending claims and litigation in Northern Illinois.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze legal and factual issues, develop defense strategies, and conduct legal research
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs while handling litigation tasks under supervision
- Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel regarding legal matters
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and license to practice in Illinois
- Minimum of 1 year of legal experience preferred, with consideration for recent graduates who passed the IL State Bar Exam
- Functional understanding of claims and litigation is a plus
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook)
