Job Summary

As an Outside Auto Appraiser, the remote position will involve inspecting damaged vehicles, estimating repair costs, and determining the actual cash value of total loss vehicles while providing exceptional customer service in the Chicago, IL area.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage through virtual or on-site inspections at customer locations or body shops
• Prepare accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software and collaborate with repair facilities
• Negotiate repair costs and settlements with body shops and customers to ensure timely resolutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Active adjuster license, where applicable
• Two years of auto physical damage appraisal experience
• Valid driver's license
• Proficient in claims management and estimating software
