Job Summary
Investigating and settling less complex claims, the fully remote Illinois Licensed Claims Adjuster will evaluate coverage, liability, and damages while exercising judgment to determine the appropriate course of action and communicate effectively with all parties involved.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, and settle claims with moderate supervision, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
- Document and communicate all claim activities in a timely manner to support the outcome of the claim file
- Interact extensively with various parties involved in the claims process to negotiate settlements and resolve issues
Required qualifications
- High school diploma and 3 years of related claims experience
- Illinois Licensed Claims Adjuster or ability to obtain necessary licenses/certifications
- Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices
- Computer experience with claims and business software
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
