Illinois Licensed Clinical Reviewer LPN
Job Summary
Supporting the Illinois SALT program, the full-time remote Illinois Licensed Clinical Reviewer LPN will review clinical documentation, conduct Level I PASRR screenings, and evaluate medical and behavioral health information to ensure appropriate care for individuals requiring long-term services.
Key responsibilities
- Review requests for services to ensure adherence to clinical criteria and escalate complex cases as needed
- Issue approvals, denials, or recommendations based on contract requirements and clinical guidelines
- Communicate with healthcare providers and individuals to gather necessary information and provide clinical determinations
Required qualifications
- Current and Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Illinois or Compact license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Nursing and/or Mental Health
- High School Degree or equivalent required
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with Level I PASRR screenings is preferred
