Illinois Licensed Compliance Officer
Job Summary
Providing specialized expertise in compliance, the full-time Illinois Licensed Compliance Officer will collaborate with leadership and staff to ensure adherence to healthcare laws and regulations, focusing on areas such as research compliance and fraud prevention, while working onsite in Peoria, Evergreen Park, Alton, or Rockford, Illinois.
Key responsibilities
- Consult and educate staff on compliance with laws and regulations in assigned areas
- Develop corrective action plans in collaboration with responsible parties when compliance gaps are identified
- Interpret legal and contractual language to communicate risks effectively to leadership
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree
- 5 years of experience in Compliance, Audit, Healthcare, or a related area
- Strong knowledge of Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and healthcare regulatory requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively with legal counsel and executive leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft software and strong analytical skills
