Job Summary
Managing day-to-day data center facility operations, the full-time Illinois Licensed Datacenter Facility Lead will coordinate site execution activities and ensure reliable delivery of installation, maintenance, and support services in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily site work, work orders, and technician assignments
- Perform rack-and-stack, device installation, and hardware decommissioning tasks
- Monitor facility conditions and maintain work logs and status reports
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise data center operations or facility management
- Strong experience with rack-and-stack activities and hardware installation
- Experience providing smart-hands support for infrastructure teams
- Understanding of data center operational procedures and change management processes
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs. of hardware as required
