Job Summary
To provide comprehensive patient care, the full-time Illinois Licensed Dermatology RN will manage health assessments, patient education, and advanced nursing activities remotely after training, working Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitates competent healthcare for patients and families, ensuring adherence to established standards of care
- Provides health and wellness education, acts as a preceptor, and supports the development of staff and healthcare students
- Performs advanced nursing activities, including assisting with procedures and coordinating care for patients with skin care issues
Required qualifications
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in Illinois
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- College Diploma in Nursing
- Experience in dermatology or related field preferred
- Ability to perform advanced nursing activities and patient education effectively
