Job Summary
Supporting electrical power system calculations and engineering studies, the contract-to-permanent Electrical Analytical Engineer 1 will work in a hybrid role, contributing to projects in power generation, transmission, and renewable energy while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities
- Support and perform electrical power system calculations and engineering studies for various energy projects
- Assist with protective relay setting calculations, arc flash studies, and electrical system protection evaluations
- Utilize power system analysis software to evaluate system performance and document technical findings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a Power or Power Systems background
- At least 3 years of experience in electrical analysis or power system engineering studies
- Experience with power system analysis software such as ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, or EMTP-RV
- Knowledge of protective relaying, arc flash analysis, and electrical system calculations
- Familiarity with transient analysis, harmonic studies, and renewable energy systems
