Job Summary
To support the emergency services team, the part-time Illinois Licensed Emergency Nurse will provide coordinated care to acutely ill patients, participating in assessment, planning, and evaluation while working rotating shifts onsite.
Key responsibilities
- Collects and analyzes patient data to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Directs care and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure effective service delivery
- Evaluates patient responses to interventions and documents findings to adjust care plans as needed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a commitment to obtain a BSN
- Registered Professional Nurse licensure in Illinois
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and TNCC certifications within one year of hire for the Emergency Room
- Preferred experience in a clinical emergency setting
