Illinois Licensed Financial Ops Consultant

Job Summary

To enhance the settlement and accounting knowledge of member credit unions, the full-time Illinois Licensed Financial Ops Consultant will develop and deliver training, assist with portfolio conversions, and provide ongoing support in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre-conversion analysis of credit union general ledger systems and map accounts to settlement applications
• Serve as the primary contact for credit union staff regarding settlement processes, ensuring accuracy and minimizing liability
• Prepare and facilitate training plans for credit unions, providing daily support for a minimum of two weeks post-conversion

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum five years of Omaha Settlement experience
• Three years of experience in Visa/MasterCard industry services
• Two years of experience with Microsoft Office products, particularly advanced Word and Excel skills
• Experience communicating with various levels of internal and external organizations
