Job Summary
To lead the vendor selection and implementation of a Practice Management System, the remote Senior Healthcare IT Project Manager will drive the RFP process, manage multi-system integrations, and ensure user adoption while collaborating with executive leadership and technical teams, requiring proximity to Chicago, IL.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the RFP and vendor selection process, including demos, reference checks, and contract negotiations
- Translate technical architecture and integration requirements into actionable business decisions for executive leadership
- Manage technical workstreams and ensure smooth post-go-live change management and user adoption
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of enterprise IT program management experience with a PMP certification
- Experience with at least two full PMS or EHR replacement cycles at multi-site healthcare organizations
- Proven expertise in RFP/vendor selection, including scorecarding and contract negotiations
- Strong integration experience within a Microsoft ecosystem (E5, Entra ID, Intune)
- Comfortable collaborating with third-party IT MSP partners
