Job Summary
Seeking an Illinois Licensed Hospice Veterinarian, the full-time position will provide compassionate end-of-life care and in-home euthanasia services for pets in the DeKalb, IL area, allowing for a self-managed schedule and the opportunity to practice medicine with meaningful impact.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide in-home hospice care and euthanasia services, ensuring comfort for pets and their families
- Manage a flexible schedule with 2 to 5 appointments per day, focusing on quality interactions
- Collaborate with a supportive team for mentorship and ongoing professional development
Required qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance
