Job Summary
To support a dynamic legal team, an Illinois Licensed Legal Counsel will work remotely in a full-time capacity, focusing on drafting, negotiating, and optimizing procurement agreements and commercial transactions while leveraging technology to enhance legal operations and contract workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate standard inbound procurement agreements and handle commercial and real estate transactions
- Identify and design technology-driven improvements for procurement and commercial agreement workflows
- Act as a strategic liaison to various internal teams, providing legal insights and feedback to enhance product offerings
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of in-house legal experience or law firm experience in technology-related contracting
- Admitted to practice and in good standing with the US Bar Association
- Strong experience with drafting and negotiating procurement and commercial agreements
- Demonstrated understanding of data privacy and security in the SaaS industry
- Proficiency with contract management technologies and a willingness to experiment with emerging tools
