Job Summary
To provide comprehensive pediatric care, the part-time Illinois Licensed Pediatric RN will manage patient health assessments, facilitate health education, and ensure adherence to care standards in a clinic setting during day shifts, Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Provides and facilitates competent healthcare for patients and families, ensuring adherence to established standards of care
- Acts as a preceptor and supports the development of other staff and healthcare students
- Administers medications and performs clinical procedures such as starting IVs and changing dressings
Required qualifications
- Current Illinois RN license with pediatric specialty
- College diploma in Nursing
- Experience in pediatric nursing or related field
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Ability to perform telephonic triage and patient education
