Job Summary
Supporting pharmacy operations, the remote Certified Pharmacy Technician will assist members, providers, and pharmacies with prior authorizations, claims inquiries, and benefit questions while ensuring compliance and exceptional customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to pharmacy-related inquiries, benefit questions, and prior authorization requests
- Research and resolve pharmacy claims and medication-related concerns while maintaining service level expectations
- Document and process pharmacy transactions in accordance with regulatory and operational guidelines
Required qualifications
- Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification preferred
- Active Pharmacy Technician registration with a State Board of Pharmacy, where applicable
- Experience in pharmacy operations, prior authorizations, or healthcare customer service preferred
- Proficiency in using pharmacy systems and multiple computer applications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
