Job Summary
To support the geriatric population, the full-time Remote LTC Pharmacy Adjudication Technician will manage communication regarding medication orders, coordinate Medicare D claims, and maintain accurate customer accounts while working from home.
Key responsibilities
- Initiate communication with communities about expensive and non-formulary medication orders, educating on alternatives
- Review Medicare D rejections and coordinate with pharmacists to successfully adjudicate claims
- Maintain detailed records of orders requiring follow-up and assist with data entry and customer service tasks
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Illinois Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification (CPhT) required within 60 days of hire
- Minimum one year of data entry experience
- General computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology
