Job Summary
To support K-12 schools, the fully remote Illinois Licensed Physical Therapist will evaluate students' gross motor function, develop treatment plans, and document progress towards IEP goals as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate levels of gross motor function, mobility, strength, balance, and functional skills for students
- Develop and execute treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Document therapy sessions and track progress towards IEP goals while collaborating with school personnel
Required qualifications
- Active state physical therapy license
- Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
- Experience with a reliable, HIPAA-compliant teletherapy platform
- Ability to collaborate remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families
- Authorization to work in the United States
