Job Summary
Providing exceptional service to policyholders, the full-time remote Illinois Licensed Property Adjuster Trainee will inspect damages, investigate coverage, prepare estimates, and settle claims, primarily focusing on water losses while working within the Central and Eastern time zones.
Key responsibilities
- Virtually inspect damages and investigate property claims to determine coverage and settle claims promptly
- Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and vendors through various channels, including phone, email, and video chat
- Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements while maintaining accurate documentation in the claims system
Required qualifications
- 1+ years of previous customer service experience required
- Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for virtual assessments is preferred
- Ability to assess property damages and accurately determine claim coverage
- Excellent negotiation skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient claim resolutions
